I went in to pick up some sandwich meat from the deli, and that's exactly what happened. There was a helpful and courteous lady working at the counter in the deli. She sliced the sandwich meat as a sample so I could see how thick the slice was, then she offered it to me as a sample to taste. She had no attitude, no political agenda, she simply sliced deli meat. And we all lived happily ever after!
